Recent obituary: Karen Joy Perrine, Marian May Pierson, Jennifer D. Rice

PerrineKarenKaren Joy Perrine of Ann Arbor, age 74, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.

She was born Nov. 4, 1940 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Donald and Martha (Stevens)  Clark.

Karen retired from Ann Arbor Schools in 1993 as a school bus driver. She was a tribal member of The Choctaw Nation. Karen enjoyed getting together with family and friends.

PiersonMarionMarian May Pierson of Chelsea, age 90, died Friday, April 17, 2015 at her home.

She was born May 3, 1924 in Chelsea, the daughter of Julius L. and Alma K. (Eschelbach) Eisele.

Marian was a Chelsea High School Graduate class of 1942. She served in WAVES during WWII. Marian worked for John Keusch and Pete Flintoft for many years. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ.

Rice_Jennifer_2_croppedJennifer D. Rice of Grass Lake, age 74, died Monday, April 20, 2015 at home with her family.

She was born Feb. 28, 1941 in Livonia, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph D. and Belvidera D. (Walter) Hibbs.

Jennifer grew up in Waterloo, and was a graduate of Chelsea High School Class of 1959. She was a member of the Chelsea Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Jennifer loved her grandchildren and the Detroit Tigers. She also enjoyed painting, quilting, and bird watching.
