Margaret Jane Olson of Chelsea, formerly of E. Jordan, Michigan, age 86, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Chelsea.
She was born Feb. 28, 1929 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Roy and Raechel (Frick) Scott.
Margaret attended Boyne City High School with the class of 1946. She worked as a bookkeeper, and later in RV sales. Margaret belonged to the Presbyterian Church, and was baptized in Boyne City. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge in Pinckney. Margaret loved cooking, doing crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, and was an avid reader.
