Schiller, Stubbs promoted at Chelsea State Bank

Jacqueline M. Schiller has been promoted to senior vice president and Jessica M. Stubbs to vice president at Chelsea State Bank.

“I am very pleased to announce these well-deserved promotions,” said Chelsea State Bank President and CEO John Mann in a press release.

“These two women have demonstrated great leadership within our Bank and within our communities. Both Jackie and Jessica have a strong commitment to serving our employees and customers. As the local community bank, that is important to us,” he said.

With a successful and long-standing banking career, Schiller has a special commitment to Chelsea State Bank and the community as she began her career with the bank as a teller and bookkeeper right out of high school in 1972. After attending Washtenaw Community College, Schiller continued to move up in the bank. In 1979, she was promoted to Assistant Supervisor of Booking, Assistant Cashier in 1985, Assistant Vice President in 1992, Vice President, Auditor and Compliance Officer in 2002 and in 2012 to Human Resource Officer.

Stubbs joined Chelsea State Bank in 2011 as Assistant Vice President and Compliance Officer. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has over 16 years of experience with financial institutions, beginning her career as a teller in a community bank and moving through the ranks to vice president. She was most recently an audit manager at an accounting, tax and business consulting firm before joining the bank.

After graduating from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management, Stubbs earned her CPA license in 2003. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
