The Chelsea City Council will interview six candidates to fill the soon-to-be vacant council seat of County Commissioner-elect Kent Martinez-Kratz, on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
The interviews will begin at 6 p.m. in the council chambers in the new Police Building.
Those being interviewed are Jerry Hayes, Bethany Morris, Dustin Suntheimer, Lynn Fox, Jeff Blazok, and Craig McKee.
A seventh candidate, Jim Machnik applied, but will not be interviewed.
Out of curiosity, why wasn’t the seventh candidate interviewed?
That would be a question for the members of Chelsea City Council.
