Washtenaw County Road Commission crews responded to 10 winter weather events and used a total of 1,717 tons of salt and 466 tons of sand during the last two weeks in February.
In addition to all the snow and ice removal and treatment, the crews also performed the following work in the Chelsea area.
Dexter Township:
Dexter Townshall Road – cut trees
Hankerd Road – pick-up fallen tree
Madden Road – remove fallen limbs
Lima Township:
Lima Center Road – grind stumps
Trinkle Road – 15 tons of limestone patch
Lyndon Township:
Bartell Road – pick-up fallen trees
Sylvan Township:
Sibley and Glazier roads – cut trees
