2016 Chelsea Community Fair: Lions Club still in need of dunk tank sitters

File photo. Me in the Chelsea Lions Club dunk tank after the first splash thanks to Rick Taylor’s accurate throws.

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Chuck Armstrong for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Lions Club is still hoping to fill some spots in the dunk tank at this year’s 79th annual Chelsea Community Fair, which  takes place from Aug. 23-27.

Please sign up for this worthy community charity. Or, if you know of a good candidate to sit (it could be a teacher, public official, coach or maybe just a neighbor living in the Chelsea, Dexter, Manchester, Grass Lake or Stockbridge area), pass along this link http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f4dacaf29a02-2016 or contact me by phone (734-475-8224) or email: [email protected] and I will contact them.

We have set it up for 30 minute slots. If that is all you can do, that is fine, but feel free to sign up for a longer stay or a slot on more than one night. Signing up for more time would be great.
