The Faith in Action Board of Directors would like to thank the attendees, the business contributors, and all donors who contributed to the success of the 35th Annual Benefit Banquet that was held on April 28 at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital.

With enthusiastic support from those who share in the mission of helping the low income households of our area to provide food for their families and to stay stably housed and stress free, FIA was able to raise a record amount of money for its ongoing work.

Humanitarian of the Year Anne Comeau was honored for her many years of work on behalf of organizations throughout the community that affect the quality of life of our residents, from educational boards to FIA itself. Her large family was on hand to share the evening with her.

From a trip to Hawaii, to local restaurant and activity venues, the auction had great offerings. Special thanks go to John Hansen of Dexter and Bill Harmer of Chelsea for their volunteer auctioneering.

Music was provided by a quartet of Dexter High School Orchestra students.
