The outdoor farmers markets are underway in Chelsea.
Remember that the Wednesday market is taking place at a new time – from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
The location is the same as last year – in the parking lot of Chelsea State Bank, 1010 S. Main St., at the corner of M52 and Old US-12.
You’ll see some new vendors this season including Rachel Johnson, who owns The Mitten Peanut Butter Company. She buys her own specially roasted peanuts and offers a variety of flavors. Johnson also sells peanut butter cookies as well as peanut butter treats for dogs.
To learn more about what to expect each week at the farmers markets, visit the website at www.chelseafarmersmkt.org, visit the Chelsea Farmers Market Facebook page, or e-mail coordinator@chelseafarmersmkt.org.
