The Chelsea Area Players (CAP) will hold auditions for the hit Broadway musical, “Godspell” on March 1-2.
The play consists of a series of parables from the gospels of Matthew and Luke accompanied by song. One of its songs, “Day by Day”, from the original cast album, hit #13 on the Billboard pop singles chart in 1972.
Auditions will be at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea, March 1-2 at 6:30 p.m.
Bring a prepared song.
Shelley Wheaton will be the producer and Vicky Wurster will direct the production.
Performances will held at St Mary Church on May 6, 7, 13, 14 and 15. The event will be produced dinner theater style.
