Here’s the latest M-52 road construction schedule from the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Starting Monday, Oct. 15, at 5 a.m. until approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday Oct. 16, M-52 north of I-94 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for paving of the northbound lanes. In addition, there will not be a designated left-turn lane during this time.
Crews will then complete final paving of the ramps.
Here’s that schedule:
On Monday, Oct. 22, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., southbound M-52 traffic will be detoured between I-94 and Old US-12 for final paving of the southbound and left turn lanes on M-52.
On Wednesday, Oct. 24, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., MDOT will close and detour traffic on the westbound I-94 off-ramp to M-52 for final paving on the ramp.
On Thursday, Oct. 25, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., MDOT will close and detour traffic on the westbound I-94 on-ramp from M-52 for final paving on the ramp.
It’s nearing an end, folks, so please be patient and slow down in the construction areas. Just remember how smooth M-52 will be to travel and how nice business driveways will be to navigate when it’s finished.
