Helen Druskinis of Gregory, passed away peacefully on Sept. 3, after a two-year battle with ovarian cancer, surrounded with love.
Helen Alice Stell -Bishop -Druskinis was the daughter of Raymond and Helen (Cempura) Stell, born on December 11th, 1954, and was the youngest of five children: Theresa, Genevieve, Raymond and Anna.
Family meant the world to Helen. A strong woman, she always found a way to move forward. Education was key to her improving herself. She received her GED, a Bachelor’s Degree at Cleary College, and then, in her 60s, continued at Washtenaw Community College to receive her CNA Certificate. Her actions taught us that limits are only what one puts upon themselves.
Family is having a private service on October 2nd to celebrate Helen.
