The Purple Rose Theatre Company (PRTC) is looking for your love stories.

In conjunction with its summer comedy,”Miles & Ellie” by Don Zolidis, the PRTC is organizing a community engagement project to collect love stories from local couples.

The Miles & Ellie Project will showcase real life love stories on video and in written anecdotes, according to a press release.

Those who prefer not to appear on camera, written submissions will be accepted throughout the summer online here.

The premiere production of Miles & Ellie will take place at the Purple Rose from Thursday, June 20-Saturday, Aug.31.

The story follows Miles and Ellie, two teenagers in love when a youthful misunderstanding breaks them apart.Flash forward 20 years and a disenchanted Ellie has come home for what she expects to be a typical dysfunctional family Thanksgiving. Not long into the family shenanigans, however, Ellie learns that Miles is still in town and carrying a torch for her.

Tickets are on sale for the play by calling 433-7673 or online here.
