Beach Middle School volleyball results from Sept. 25

ChelseaBulldogsLogoGoldTrimThe 7th Grade Blue Volleyball team played 3 close games with Monroe but lost 21-25, 20-25 and 24-26. Madeleine Kennedy led serving 7 points including 5 aces, Julia Schachinger had 6 points serving, Mallory Stribe had 4, Angelia Daman and Stephanie Dark each had 3, Emily Savery, Bella Verardi and Shae Wright each had 2 and Haley Townsend had 1.

The 8th Grade Blue Volleyball team played Monroe and won one out of three games.  Paige Romelhardt had a block at the net and Serena Adams had good hits at the net.  Brianna Loucks and Kylie Saxton both played strong defense for the Bulldogs.  Ellie Verrette, Peyton Vandergrift, and Nina White had great serves.

The 7th Grade Gold Volleyball team lost a very close match to Bedford. Although they lost, they did win one of the three sets. Sierra Law had a 7 point service run with 3 aces. Skylar Staton had a 5 point service run with 2 aces. Madeline Dapprich had a 2 point service run. While Karie Reiber, Tori Walz, and Peyton Lajiness each added an ace for the night.

The 8th Grade Gold Volleyball team played 3 outstanding games against Bedford, but came up just short of a win.  Every game was hard fought and all the girls played as a team.  Some of the highlights included a block from Kaehla Manly; several hits and tips from Emily Griggs, Jordin Fannin, and Melissa Jolly. Strong serving came from Audrey Phillips, Kara Nold, Alise Hale and Rachel StubbsMaddie Cerveny and Kara Nold also had one of their best defensive games this season.

The team would like to thank all the 7th and 8th grade fans who came to cheer them on.
