July 22: Devil’s Haircut 2nd Annual Cut-A-Thon

Devil’s Haircut is hosting its Second Annual Summer Salute.

All summer the business is offering complimentary haircuts to first responders in the local and surrounding areas.

In addition, to honor our veterans, they are hosting a Cut-A-Thon to benefit the American Legion, Post 31 on Saturday, July 22 from noon-7 p.m. All haircuts will be $18, and 100 percent of proceeds will be donated.

In addition to the haircuts, there will be many vendors involved as well.  Attendees can shop goods from businesses including Thirty One and LuLaRoe, scope out amazing creations from local artists, and visit with some of Chelsea’s most respectable business owners.

There will be a prize raffle, grilled hot dogs and fun games for everyone who stops by.

In 2016, Devil’s Haircut and the participating vendors raised $2,500 for the Chelsea American Legion. The contribution meant that the American Legion could engage with more disabled veterans, provide more homeless veterans housing, and more Chelsea students could receive scholarships.

The American Legion is “the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.”
