Tonight, Monday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the Chelsea Senior Center, Transition Town Chelsea will hear from Ken Zebarah, Jr., territory sales manager at Harvest Energy Solutions in Jackson regarding solar energy.
He will show the group what they can do with solar energy, in a version of the presentation that has “energized” people at other events around the state. He will speak about the technology and economics of solar power for homes, communities, and farms.
Zebarah will pay particular attention to new storage technologies and different technologies for gaining independence from the large utility companies. He also brings with him the latest legislative update for renewable energy in Michigan.
The potluck meal begins at 6:30 p.m. The presentation begins at approximately 7:15 p.m. If coming to the potluck meal, please bring a dish to pass and your own place settings.
