April 22: edible plants foraging walk in Waterloo Recreation Area

On April 22 from 2-3:30 p.m., Rachel Misfud will lead an Earth Day celebration called Edible Plants Foraging Walk.

Misfud, from Will Forage for Food will assist participants identify edible, medicinal, and otherwise useful plants and mushrooms that are ready for harvest. 

The walk will be leisurely, but participants need to be able to handle uneven, shrubby or muddy ground, as we may leave the trail to search for these plants.  Cost: $2/person or $5/family.

Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.
