Learn how to become a literacy volunteer at the Chelsea District Library on Tuesday, April 2 from 2-3 p.m. in the McKune Room.
Helping an adult to read, teach English skills to non-native speakers, even learn new things yourself through this class.
The first step in becoming a volunteer tutor with Washtenaw Literacy is to attend a one-hour informational session, the ABCs of Literacy Tutoring.
The session will provide folks with all the information they need to decide how they would like to become involved.
