Aug. 20-21: Check Out the Free Tractor Pulls at the Chelsea Fairgrounds

If you are looking for something free and fun to do before the official start of the 80th Annual Chelsea Community Fair on Aug. 22, there are several events for you to enjoy.

On Sunday, Aug. 20 after you enter your exhibits in the Green Barn, you can head down to the Main Arena beginning at 9 a.m. for the tractor dead weight cement pull. Don’t know what that is? Head to the grandstands and there will be plenty of friendly people there to explain the event.

Did I mention that these events are free? And that the Kiwanis hotdog trailer will have hot food and cold drinks for sale as well?

On Monday, Aug. 21 beginning at 9 a.m. is the antique tractor pull also in the Main Arena. And the friendly folks from Kiwanis will have food and drinks for sale.

Visitors to these events should enter through the main gate of the fairgrounds.
