Aug. 24 Schedule at Chelsea Community Fair

Tuesday, Aug. 24 at the 83rd Annual Chelsea Community Fair below is what you can expect to see.

Gates open at 10 a.m. and you can visit the Natures Creation of Life in the red barn at the back of the fairgrounds where you’ll find all kinds of young farm animals.

Rabbit judging begins at 9 a.m. followed by poultry judging at 11 a.m.

At noon, you can check out all the exhibits that have been judged and displayed in the Green Barn.

At 1 p.m., all the merchant displays open in the Merchant Barn.

The evening activities start with pig judging at 5 p.m. in the Multipurpose Arena.

Bingo begins at 5:30 p.m. in the bingo tent near the service building and the merchant barn.

In the Main Arena, the Chelsea Community Fair Figure Eight Demolition Derby begins at 7:30 p.m.

Note: The rides will not start until Wednesday, Aug. 25.

Admission to the fair is $10 daily, children under 10 are free. A Season Pass – good for the week – is $30.

There is a discount for a season pass for students/seniors (65 and older)/current and former military. Show proof and the weekly passes are $20.

Parking is plentiful and free.
