The gates open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26 at the Chelsea Community Fair for Senior Day where those 65 and older get free admission before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m. the regular admission fees apply.

At 1 p.m., the Kiddies Pedal-Power Tractor Pull is scheduled to take place in the Multi-Purpose Arena.

The Nature’s Creation of Life barn is open all day, rides begin at 3 p.m.

At 1 p.m., the Merchant’s Barn opens and Bingo begins at 5 p.m.

At 7 p.m., the livestock auction takes place in the Multi-Purpose Arena. (I hope everyone will attend and bid on the animals the youth showmen have worked so hard to raise during the last few months.)

There is a discount for a season pass for students/seniors (65 and older)/current and former military with ID’s. Weekly passes are $20.

Parking is plentiful and free.
