On Thursday, Aug. 28, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will impose daytime road closures for gravel resurfacing on seven roads in Lima Township.
The road improvements are expected to be completed in one day.
Please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
- Haist Road – between Fletcher Road and Jerusalem Road
- Lima Center Road – between Jerusalem Road and Jackson Road
- Jerusalem Road – between Steinbach Road and Dancer Road
- Liberty Road – between Parker Road and Steinbach Road
- Steinbach Road – between Gross Road and Trinkle Road
- Trinkle Road – between Steinbach Road and Dancer Road
- Lima Center Road – between Trinkle Road and Dexter-Chelsea Road
During these daytime activities through traffic will be prohibited and alternate routes are advised. Local access for properties within the road closure will be maintained, however, delays are possible.
To maintain the safety of road crews, motorists are asked to be especially mindful of construction equipment and personnel and reduce speeds accordingly. The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as we continue our efforts to preserve the county road system.
