Be sure to stop by Two Tracks Acres for meat, vegetables and flowers.

By Lisa Carolin

Stock up for the Labor Day holiday weekend this Saturday at the Chelsea Farmers Market.

You’ll find plenty of fresh produce including tomatoes, corn, zucchini, and beans as well as apples, honey, cheese, and eggs.

Look for Two Tracks Acres at the market for freshly picked vegetables and flowers and for a variety of meats.

Two Tracks Acres is a 10-acre farm located in Grass Lake and takes a holistic approach to farming. The farm grows a variety of vegetables and flowers and raises meat chickens, pigs, cattle, and turkeys. There are no hormones or antibiotics in their meat. It’s never too early to ask about their broad breasted bronze turkeys, which they raise for Thanksgiving.

You’ll also find fresh baked breads, cookies, and cakes at the Saturday market, along with a wide variety of crafts including jewelry, candles, birdhouses, and pottery.

The market is located at Palmer Commons and runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
