The Beach Middle School swim team remains undefeated after beating rival Dexter Wednesday afternoon at Cameron Pool, 100-70.
Chelsea led Dexter 44-34 after the diving competition in the middle school swim and dive meet.
“The Beach Middle School swim team kept up their winning ways, making it 6-0 by beating Dexter at home last night, 100-70,” says Dave Brinklow, middle school swim coach.
Joey Mangner bested his own school record in the 100 freestyle with his first place time of 53.79 topping his mark set last week of 54.48.
Other first place finishers were the Medley Relay team of Kurt Jolly, Preston Ewald, Lee Argir and Mangner.
Argir also won the 200 freestyle and 50 butterfly.
Ewald won the 100 IM and 100 Breaststroke, Mangner the 50 free, Jolly the 100 backstroke.
The 200 freestyle relay of Ewald, Anna Vanneste, Zach Lee and Brian Jacobs.
Other outstanding performances came from Colin Babycz, Abby Burris, Clara Nelson, Maggie Tarasow, Greta Robbins, Ethan Prodin, Shelby Collier, Cynthia Gillespie, Cullen Lindsay, Delaney Krause, Catherine Wellman, Lorenzo Melendez and Logan Mahalak.
