Beach Middle School basketball results from Dec. 10

The 8th grade blue basketball team beat Monroe last night, 28-18, and eight players scored including Brady Friss with 12 points, Alex Vasquez with 10 points, Ryan Mitchell had 9 points and Bryce Jubenville scored 8 points. Cal Barrett and Joey Wise played very well defensively and collected many rebounds.

The 8th grade gold basketball team used a complete team effort to top Bedford last night, 16-15. Mykal Nelson, Connor Christian, and Andrew Klink all had season-best games, while five different Bulldogs – Matthew Klink, Jack Bush, Cam Cooper, Ben Kaemming, and Chris Roush – had four or more points. The Bulldogs pulled ahead for good on Cooper’s 3-point play with 12 seconds to go.

The seventh grade gold basketball team lost to Bedford by a score of 23-17. The whole team played hard and showed improvement.

The 7th grade blue team beat Monroe, 15-13, on a great shot by Grant Barrett. The team is making huge strides in the game. Playing well for the Bulldogs were Cross Lucas, Patrick Bertoni, Barrett, Brandon Doyle, Kollin Pustay, Alex Sanborn and Jeret Hirst.
