(Chelsea Update would like to thank the coaches for the information in this story.)

Owen Brown hit three 3 points and Riley Sumner scored 5 of his 21 points in the second half as the 7th Grade Blue/Gold basketball team defeated Tecumseh 25-19.

Zach Sanborn and Justin Heim each played strong defense to secure the victory.

The 8th Grade Blue basketball team beat the visiting Tecumseh Indians last night, 33-24.

The student section was so loud and rambunctious that it was difficult for Tecumseh to know what end they were trying to defend. The team would like to thank everyone who attended and showed their true Bulldog spirit.

Hunter Neff and Brady Flezar paved the way in the lane with 22 and 19 points respectively.  Dane Zorn, Parker Murphy, Drake Grady and Quinn Starkey made everyone bust out their umbrellas while letting it rain from behind the arc making 14 out of 15 three’s collectively.

Noah French, Tyler Emmert and Sam Larsen won the Red Cross award playing with breaks and bruises and battling illness all night.  And Leo St. Amour, Josh Kreft, Ty Stacy, Chase Kunzelman and Mike Tarasow won the “Good Housekeeping” award for keeping the boards clean and dusting the competition.
