Beach Middle School cross country runners continued to improve. Chelsea girls team placed 4th out of 10 teams at the Chelsea Invitational meet on Saturday.
Three girls were in the top 20 out 105 runners and earned medals: Mya King, Audra Guthre, and Kate Gaiser. Other highlights: Cedar Hughes improved her season best time by 15 seconds, while Julie Kause improved by four and half minutes from the 1st meet.
The boys team placed 6th out of 10 teams. We had two boys in the top 20 out of 138 runners and earned medals: Jonas Norwood and Lucas Hopkins. Other highlights: Jacob Andreski improved his PR by 20 seconds, John Putnam lowered his time by 30 seconds, and Parker Olk went 15 seconds faster than his season best.
