The 7th Grade Football Team lost to Lincoln Thursday night, 30-6.
The Bulldogs played an inspired first half and the score was tied 6-6 at halftime. Lincoln pulled away in the second half with a couple of big plays. Despite the loss, the Bulldogs had many bright spots on offense and defense. Garrett Steele threw a touchdown pass to Sam Michael for a TD,
Also making big plays for the offense were Mason Pustay, Riley Sumner and Patrick Kelleher. Aidan Boote and Kyle Knight ran the offense well at the quarterback position.
The defense was led by Garrett Steele with a fumble recovery and Kyle Knight with an interception. Also making big plays on defense were Patrick Kelleher, Joe Michael and Gabe Vowles.
The 8th Grade Blue Football team also lost to Lincoln Thursday night, 45-20.
Highlights included Aaron McDaniel, who scored 3 touchdowns including a 72-yard kickoff return. Evan Vaughn and Anthony Pearse also contributed yardage from the full back position.
