7 Blue (with photo gallery above)
The 7th grade blue football team lost to Adrian Tuesday night night, 50-0.

Strong defensive plays were made by Cade Ahlstrom, Owen Peterson and Liam Guthre.

The offensive was led by the hard blocking of Oliver Kuboushek and Tanner Trinkle.

The blue team travels to Dexter next week.

7 Gold
The 7th grade gold football team traveled to Tecumseh and lost a tough game 48-8.

After a tough 1st half, the Dogs held Tecumseh to only one score in the second half.

Richard Montoye scored the dog’s lone touchdown on a 64-yard inside run while a pass from Nate Christian to Will McCalla scored the 2-point conversion.

Aiden Powell had a great game at cornerback, making some big stops on the outside and Montoye led the team in tackles.

The Dogs host Bedford next week.

8 Gold
The 8th grade gold football team lost to Tecumseh 42-8 Tuesday night.

However, the Bulldogs figured things out in the second half by great running effort by Mason Meads, who scored the 2-point conversion, after a big touchdown pass from Luke Anstead to Donovan Fisk.

Defensively, Seth Anstead, Donovan Fisk, and Andrew Bowles had tackles for loss.

David Eder had a strip sack recovered by Myles Bieber.

Nathan Doyle, Jake Sisler, and Jack Johnson-Chasteen had great efforts on both sides of the ball.

8 Blue (with slideshow below)
Tuesday night, the 8th grade blue football team fell to Adrian 42-22.

The offense moved the ball successfully at times, with Regan Plank scoring three touchdowns.

However, that was not enough to beat the Maples.

The Bulldogs will look to right the ship next week when they travel to rival Dexter.
