Beach Middle School’s Leadership Class raised more than $2,600 this spring for the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides military veterans with support after they return home.

The 7th and 8th grade students planned and carried out three major events: a school-wide change challenge, a rock-a-thon, and a Teacher-Student Olympics.

And in addition to raising funds, students in the class learn leadership principles and hear from inspirational leaders in the community.
