On Wednesday, Sept. 19, the 7th grade blue volleyball team won the 2nd game but lost the match to Saline last night, 17-25, 25-9, 13-25. Alise Hale led with 18 service points.
Peyton Vandegrift and Ellie Verrette each had 2 points and Zoe Steigerwald, Kara Nold, Emily Griggs, Paige Romelhardt, Lexi Clark, Melissa Jolly, Nina White, and Serena Adams each 1 point each, according announcements from the school.
The 8th grade gold volleyball team lost to a tough-serving Adrian team. Aggressive play came from Kelsey Walz, Sara Stribe and Hanna Stock. Leading servers were Anna Knight, Kylie Letourneau, and Cassie Lungo.
The 8th grade blue volleyball team played a great game against Saline last night. The Bulldogs lost the first game 25-10, won the second game 25-20, and lost the third game in a nail biter 25-21.
Nicole Bareis had a strong performance at the net with two hits. Kylie Kuebler and Taylor Freyre had good passes for the Bulldogs. Shauna Caffrey served 5 points and Allie Heinen served 17 points for the team.
