Are you a basket maker, jeweler, potter, fiber artist, photographer, folk artist, or wood worker?

Silver Maples is putting out a call for artists of all types for its 5th Annual Harvest Art Market on Oct. 6.

Organizers have opened up the application process for any artists who wish to have a booth, and they are looking for a variety of mediums and price ranges.

More than 20 artists and craftsmen are expected to show their watercolors, folk art, pottery, fiber arts, glass works, original photography, and vintage art.

“Our goal is provide a nice “market-mix of art,” says Shawn Personke, director of activities and public relations for Silver Maples.

Plus, the organizers hope that artists will also demonstrate their work at the show.

In addition, Harvest Art Market features live entertainment, plus a bake sale with some of the best cookies, cakes, pies, and breads around, Personke says.

There’s an Aug. 31 deadline, and applications are available at Silver Maples, 100 Silver Maples Dr., or by contacting contact Personke at [email protected].
