What can Silver Solutions Network do for you?

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Maurine Nelson and Dick Dice for the information in this story.)

If you’re newly retired or have been retired for some time and looking to connect to people, places and things, and most importantly to make a contribution to the community and to yourself — see the testimony of Judy Irwin and Teresa Henry below and to see how Silver Solutions Network brought a some “light” into their life.

I saw an article in the Chelsea Update online news about the formation of Silver Solutions Network and their goal of finding volunteer and paid jobs for seniors. My first thought was to look into this.

Maurine Nelson’s name was mentioned. When I saw her at church the following Sunday, I told her I was interested, and she said she would put me in touch with Dick Dice.

Dick called me the next day and he was super friendly, and we talked about what I would be interested in. A few days later, I called Teresa Henry and met with her at her ceramics studio.

After talking with Teresa, I was interested enough to give it a try.

Teresa is the owner of Teresa’s Ceramics and has been in business for 25 years with a highly successful etsy business shipping her creative ceramics all over the world.

What do I do? I paint ceramics two days a week. Best of all, I really enjoy working for Teresa in a relaxed environment doing something I enjoy.

If you are considering a paid or volunteer position, consider checking out Silver Solutions Network through the Chelsea Senior Center. says Irwin.

Henry added that Judy as a helper has been a perfect fit for my business. She is a joy to work with. Thanks so much for connecting us.”
