Chelsea Area for Obama canvassing Saturday

Richard Dyer invites interested residents to meet at Biggby Coffee in southtown on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 3 p.m. to help canvass the area as part of Chelsea Area for Obama.

He said the group would be out from 3-5 p.m.

“We have organized in support of re-electing President Barack Obama. Interested residents will meet to gain accurate information at meetings to share with the area residents,” according to the group’s Website.

“We plan to campaign through phone banks, emailing and door to door contact throughout the community area. Our membership welcomes Chelsea area residents who support the re-election of our president in 2012 and are willing to share their time, efforts and talents to Barack Obama’s campaign.”

For more information, go to the group’s Website.
