Chelsea Area Girl Scouts looking for businesses to host ‘Cookie Booths’

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Anita Mosier, Chelsea Girl Scouts area manager for the information in this story.)

Chelsea Area Girl Scouts are looking for businesses that would be willing to host “Cookie Booths” in their store between Feb. 13-March 17.

Cookie booths include 2-4 respectful girls and 1 or 2 responsible adults selling cookies.

Girl Scout troops are funded by parents paying dues and approved fundraisers, such as Selling Girl Scout cookies.

“Money raised most times goes back into the Chelsea community by the troop doing local service projects and activities in Chelsea, so by allowing troops to sell cookies at your Chelsea business, you are directly supporting Chelsea,” Mosier said in a press release.

For more information about hosting a cookie booth contact Monica Gofton, Chelsea Girl Scout cookie booth coordinator at [email protected] or by calling 433-1896.
