Chelsea Community Fair: Ladies Day looking for donations from businesses

One of the big draws at the Chelsea Community Fair each year is Ladies Day, which will take place on Friday, Aug. 23 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Multipurpose Building.

This year’s theme is country western so ladies, wear your cowboy boots and/or cowboy hat to be entered in a new special door prize drawing.

Each year, local businesses donate prizes for numerous drawings that take place throughout the event. Please consider promoting your business with a donation to this traditional morning of fun for all the ladies in the community.

The lines to get into the Multipurpose Building form early, so get there before 8:30 a.m. when the doors open. You will be treated to complimentary refreshments and free goodie bags for the first 150 ladies to register. You must be 18 years or older to register for the prize drawings. And, you must be present to win the donated prizes.

Entertainment, food, fun and the crowning of both the champion and runner-up Homemaker and Jr. Homemaker will be announced.
