Attention float builders.
Are you planning to participate in one of the most popular events during the 80th Annual Chelsea Community Fair on Aug. 26?
If so, don’t forget to register your creative float with the Chelsea Area Fire Authority so it can compete for cash prizes. The top four floats in the adult and youth divisions receive premiums of $70 for first place, $55 for second place, $45 for third place and $35 for fourth place.
You can obtain a permit now for your float from the Chelsea Fire Authority at 200 West Middle Street and if you have any questions, call 734-475-8755.
You may begin lining up at 10 a.m. and the parade begins at 1 p.m.
