Last Monday, the Kiwanis Club heard from Chelsea Community Foundation Advisory Committee Members Rick Eder, Matt McKernan, and David Schaible.

The Chelsea Community Foundation helps local non-profit groups achieve their goals to bring permanent,  positive change in Chelsea through thoughtful giving.

They primarily focus on:

  1. Arts & Culture
  2. Health, Wellness, and Aging
  3. Trails, Parks, and Transportation
  4. Youth & Education

From a permanent endowment of $2.7 million,  $2.3 million has been granted to 53 Chelsea nonprofits since 1995, when the Foundation became part of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.

For more information go to www.ChelseaFoundation.org.

We are pleased to offer our support to the Foundation.
