Chelsea Legion Family says thank you to the community (with photo gallery)

A scene from Saturday’s American Legion Post 31 chicken broil.

This year’s July 4 chicken broil was a huge success and the Chelsea American Legion Post 32 family would like to thank the community for their support of the Saturday’s event.

The chicken dinners were sold out in about 2 hours by 1 p.m. this year.

All proceeds from the event support veterans and Chelsea Community projects.

  1. I didn’t make it out there, but appreciate their show of respect for others by wearing masks to keep customers safe, especially on such a hot day! Glad it was a success!

  2. This was the first time for me. I’ve never tasted better chicken!! Thank you, Post 31.

  3. Way to go fine gentlemen. Hard, hot work on a very hot day. Thank you for your support of Veterans and the community.
