The Chelsea Soccer Club awarded the Chelsea Soccer Club Memorial Scholarship to Chelsea High School seniors Lawrence Keith Hoeflinger and Chad Vredeveld at Seniors Night on May 31.
The memorial scholarship, sponsored by the Chelsea Soccer Club, is in honor of Katie Fox and Lon Stewart, who were long-time members of the Chelsea soccer community.
It is awarded to college-bound graduating Chelsea High School seniors, who are former Chelsea Soccer Club players, and who have demonstrated dedication, commitment and sportsmanship to the Chelsea Soccer Club and the Chelsea soccer community.
This year’s recipients each received a one-time $1,000 scholarship to be used toward their college educational expenses.
Congratulations and best wishes for future success to these two fine young men and thank you for your involvement in and service to the Chelsea Soccer Club.
