(Chelsea Update is running a series on businesses in Chelsea beginning with businesses that belong to the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce.)

First Equity Residential Mortgage, Inc. is a residential mortgage lender that has been located in Chelsea since 1995.

“We are a very competent, low cost mortgage lender,” said Bob Yopko. “We do business all over the state of Michigan, but we like being in Chelsea because of the people. This is a great community.”

Because of the constant change that the lending industry is going through, First Equity encourages anyone interested in learning more about financing a home to call them at 800-557-0270.

First Equity can answer questions about different types of loans and mortgages as well as helping clients determine how much house they can afford.
