(Chelsea Update is running a series on businesses in Chelsea beginning with those that belong to the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce. This time it’s Orbit Communications. )

Orbit Communications opened in Chelsea nearly a year ago in September of 2016. The business is a Sprint Authorized Retailer and is located at 1080 S. Main St. Kathy Lucha is one of the owners.

“We offer Sprint cell phones, tablets, home phone connect, and mobile broadband for new or existing customers,” said Lucha. “We service both businesses and consumers and have a wide variety of accessories for all carrier phones.”

Orbit Communications also repairs most Apple products. The business recently joined the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce.

“We want to get involved in the community,” said Lucha. “Chelsea is a small community with friendly people.”

She says that you don’t have to be a Sprint customer to shop at Orbit Communications.

“If you are not a Sprint customer and would like to try out our network, ask us about our demo program,” said Lucha. “You may be eligible for an employee or credit union discount.”
