About 15 officials from the City of Frankenmuth spent Monday, June 29 in Chelsea where they were scheduled to have a full day of tours and sightseeing during Mayor Exchange Day.

The agenda for the day included a tour of the new police station, the Chelsea District Library, Purple Rose Theatre, St. Joseph Mercy-Chelsea hospital, a walking tour of downtown, and a motor tour of the Chelsea Community fairgrounds,  the Chelsea District Schools, Arctic Coliseum, Chelsea Retirement Community and of course, the Chelsea Milling Jiffy Mix tour.

They also were scheduled to have lunch at Smokehouse 52.

Frankenmuth Mayor Gary Rupprecht was given a lovely framed photo of the Clocktower and a key to the city, which Mayor Jason Lindauer explained was actually a bottle opener.
