Senior diver Jake Burris of Albion College was recognized as one of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Athletes of the Week for Nov. 5.
From Chelsea, Burris is being honored as the men’s diver of the week for the second time in as many weeks.
He achieved winning scores of 488.55 in the 1-meter competition and 505.35 on the 3-meter board at a meet hosted by Calvin College last week.
Albion’s swimmers and divers will complete the first half of the season this weekend when they travel to Wabash College for an invitational meet that runs Friday through Sunday.
