There are quite a few Chelsea High School graduates who are in marching bands on the college level and in this photo are a few alumni from the recent Central Michigan University and Eastern Michigan University football game.
“We have quite a few graduates that are studying music and pursuing music degrees, as well as participating in music as an avocation at the college level,” says Rick Catherman, high school director of bands.
The students in this photo have taken the skills they learned while in high school and are now applying them at “the next level” as they perform with their respective college bands, he says.
