After becoming the first Chelsea High School cross country runner to qualify for the Champs Cross Country National Championships, Connell Alford finished the race 14th and achieved All America status as well.
“An aggressive, outstanding race that earned him All-America status,” his coach Eric Swager said. “In this senior dominated race, Connell was the fifth junior to finish.”
