The Beach Middle School girls and boys cross country teams had did very well at the SEC Jamboree #2 held at Hudson-Mills Metropark Tuesday.
In the girls varsity race, the team placed 3rd out of 10 teams. Leading the charge was Trilian Krug (placing 3rd) and Seren Angus (placing 16th).
In boys race, Connell Alford won the varsity race, while Jackie Dell placed 11th with a PR of 12:07.
Ireland Potter placed 27th and Sonja Schemahorn placed 41st out of 94 runners (each with a PR) to lead the girls team in the reserve race.
In the boys reserve race, Connor Zatkovich and Gavin Busch placed 39th and 40th, respectively, running PRs.
