On Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23, the Washtenaw County Road Commission is expected to close Toma Road between Stinchfield Woods Road and the county line in Dexter Township for new gravel.
The daytime closure of Toma Road is expected to continue on Tuesday, but please keep in mind that this road work is weather dependent.
During the closure, traffic can use Dexter-Pinckney Road as an alternate route as only local traffic will be allowed through the closed section of Toma Road.
To maintain the safety of road crews, the Road commission asks motorists to be especially mindful of construction equipment and personnel and reduce speeds accordingly.
