Feeney, Hammer and Pacheco elected to City Council

Peter Feeney was the top vote-getter in the Chelsea City Council election on Nov. 3 and will be the new face on council when they meet on Nov. 16.

According to unofficial totals, Feeney had 456 votes and incumbents Jane Pacheco and Frank Hammer were both re-elected to council with 452 votes and 362 votes respectively.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to be part of the team serving Chelsea,” Feeney said Tuesday night.

Tony Iannelli got 353 votes and a total of 652 ballots were cast in the election.

“I appreciate the votes and I’m humbled by the confidence the citizens have placed in me. I intend to continue working on their behalf,” Hammer said.

“I’m honored to have been voted in for another term and look forward to continuing the good work for the City of Chelsea,” Pacheco said.
