Get your tickets today for annual Faith in Action spring benefit banquet and auction

By Lisa Carolin

You can donate to and celebrate with Faith in Action by attending its 39th Annual Spring Benefit Banquet and Auction, coming up on Saturday, April 27, in the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Dining Room.

There will be both live and silent auctions, raffles, and you can donate directly to programs. Beginning at 6 p.m., there will be a beer and wine bar along with hors d’oeuvres followed by dinner at 7 pm.

Dinner is being provided by St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea, which means all proceeds go directly to FIA programs. Music will be provided by Wesley Fritzemeier and Brian Brill.

After 15 years, FIA Executive Director Nancy Paul is retiring. She will be this year’s recipient of the Howard S. Holmes Humanitarian of the Year Award, which is given annually by the board of directors. You’ll have a chance to say goodbye to her at the banquet.

There will be some fabulous vacations to bid on at the auctions, including Italy, Florida, and Glen Arbor. You can also participate in the Hawaii raffle to win one week in a condo in Kauai that sleeps six along with $1,000 toward airfare.

Tickets for the event are $100 per person or $450 for a table of six.

You can purchase tickets by going to http://www.faithinaction1.org/fias-annual-spring-banquet-2019/ and scrolling to the bottom of the page. If you share your email on the RSVP form, FIA will send you an auction catalog by email before the event.

You can also call Faith in Action at 734-475-3305.

Faith in Action is the largest emergency service provider in western Washtenaw County and offers financial help with rent, utilities, food, clothing, household goods, medical equipment and advocacy.
