The Chelsea Girls Golf team finished ninth at the Div. 3 State Golf Tournament held during two days last weekend.
On Friday, Oct. 19, the team battled rain and wind on the course and ended the day in ninth, while as an individual, senior Gabby Triveline equaled the team’s finish.
On the second day, the golfers had perfect fall weather for the final round and shot its second lowest score of their season to take a 9th place overall.
The team’s lowest score was shot at regionals.
Triveline moved up the individual leader board and wound up finishing with the 8th lowest score turned in on the final day.
